Jewelry Travel Wallet Sewing Instructions

Patterns by Annie has created a sewing pattern for you to make a compact jewelry travel pouch for your earrings, rings, and necklaces. It features four pockets for you to neatly store and separate your necklaces and a mesh panel to clip your earrings onto, so that they do not get into a tangled mess while traveling.

The bag is quilted and in the shape of a trifold wallet, with a strap to hold it all together. Keeping your jewelry safe and sound while you travel or at home.

I made two as Mothers Day gifts. One, I gave to my mom and included a pair of earnings and a necklace. The second bag, I sent to my sister to store my nieces hair accessaries. You can clip barrettes onto the strap, sew one end of the mess panel down and turn it into a large pocket for bows and use the small pockets for small hair bands.

Another idea, is instead of using fabric on the pockets, use clear vinyl, so that it is easy to view what is inside. For both wallets I used Camping Floral as the main fabric  and Feathers in Peacock as the coordinating fabric. Both prints are from the Trail Mix collection by Dear Stella.

The sewing pattern is available @Bunbury. The cutting and sewing instructions are printed on a 8 1/2" x 11" cardstock with 3 whole punches. These cards are meant to be neatly stored in a 3 ring binder. You can find many other projects like this one, listed under Cut Loose Press in the Bunbury shop along with everything you need to complete the projects.

I cut two extra patterns out and made into Kits, one of each pictured. Everything you need to make a jewelry travel pouch is included; Fabric, Soft and Stable, vinyl mesh, interfacing and sewing instructions. You can find the kits here.
